Great things continue to happen. Tonight Sis. Irene Morris was baptized. It was a great baptism. She was a member, then got excommunicated, and was re-baptized tonight! Repentance and the Atonement work! She has been living in our ward boundary for years (in Knightson, on a yacht, on the Delta) but it was just about 4 months ago that she went on a trip to Louisiana to see her family, and needed somebody to watch her dog - Marie. She couldn't find anyone - so her son mentioned to contact the Bishop of the ward and see if anyone in the ward could watch her dog. So she called Bishop's home and Sis. Garrison talked to her, then sent out an email to the ward to see if anyone could babysit a shitzu. Sis. Hernandez said she could do it - then it all started from then. They became great friends, then Sis. Hernandez sent us over to teach her (even though she would have done fine without us), she started coming back to church, and tonight she was baptized! She is such a neat lady. She's like a grandma to me! She and I call each other Darlin'! I got to speak at her baptism tonight and I was honored to be a part of it.
