Wow, things have been great! We had an amazing Christmas. The members were so good to us and it felt great not to focus as much on myself this year, but strive to focus on others. On Christmas day we ate breakfast at the Alexanders' and dinner with Bishop Garrison and Sister Garrison. The Garrison's are the best! They gave us a stocking full of gifts like a Brentwood t-shirt, deodorant, shampoo...Then during the day we visited Cecilia in the hospital :( She has kidney stones, and it put her in the hospital on Christmas, but we had a great visit with her. We had a wonderful Christmas day! Then this weekend on 1/2/10 Denise Kuhre was baptized! I was so happy to see her make that step. The baptism went really well, but leading up to it was pretty stressful! First off, we weren't sure if the font was going to fill up fast enough, then while we were running around everywhere President Wade shows up! So then I got really nervous because Denise asked me and Elder Malani to sing and to speak! Then to top it all off - Denise was 30 minutes late! Oh boy it made me nervous. But once the baptism started, all went well. It was a great day!
