WOW, baby its hot! We were tracting the other day in 106 degree weather! I'm spending the summer in the hottest (and safest!) parts of the mission, so with my luck Ill probably be on the Bay for the winter!
Mom, thanks for the great email, and thanks for the letter you sent too. It surprised me to get a 3 page letter, and when the first line of the letter was "I'm sitting in the doctors office..." it kinda scared me! But I'm glad that all is well, and that Lake Point Days, and going back to school, all sounds like its going good.
Things are going good! Last week we committed Steve to be baptized, and he said.......YES!!!! we tried to set a date for Sept. 26, but he feels that he wont be ready by then, but will work towards it. We have another lesson tonight and are going to try and set a date. He is pretty solid. Then, on Saturday, I went to my first real baptism! We got to drive back to my first area, and went to Pacific's baptism! Me and E. Cain were the ones that first started teaching her. She is 12 years old, and is an AMAZING young woman! It was a great night! I got to see her be baptized, and also got to see a lot of ward members from San Ramon! It was good.
Well things are going good, but something that I have been struggling with is doubt. I've talked to President at our interviews and hes given me great advice. I'm reading the Book of Mormon to overcome my trails, and have faith that all will be well!
Transfer calls are this week, and I hope I stay in Brentwood. If not, I know that I've done everything that I've needed to do here, and its time to move on! This area is great for dinners though! We've only gone 2 nights this while transfer without a dinner appointment! The member here really take care of us!
Dad, its good to hear that you ran the 5k! That made me happy! My back is being retarded again, so I'm REALLY out of shape!
Well, I'll be sending home some pictures and a tape for Tyson, probably in a week or so. I'm doing great, and I love you all!
