Letter to Home - January 5, 2010

Hey FAMILY!

Things here in Brentwood are so good! I just noticed that other than Lake Point, I've lived in Brentwood longer than any other place! I love it.

So Denise was baptized on Saturday! YAY! It was a great baptism. Me and Elder Malani spoke at her baptism, we also sang a duet. It was fun. It was one of the craziest baptisms ever, because we weren't sure if the font was going to fill in time, then as we were running around trying to get everything ready on time, guess who showed up? President Wade! He drove clear out here to keep his promise to Denise (he met her in Oakland once and promised her that he would be at her baptism). Then Denise was 30 minutes late, so that was really scary. She was just running behind, but we were all a little nervous. Once the baptism got going it went great! Mark's baptism was also amazing! It was awesome to see him progress. We have another baptism on Jan 16! Her mane is Jenny Giotta, and I've never seen someone so excited to be baptized. I might not be here for it, but holy cow, we just keep seeing miracles!

So New Years Eve was a blast! We met at the church at 5:30pm and watched Up and Ice age 3. There was a ton of food and we all had a good time. I loved Up! It was so good!

Well this could be my last week here in the Marsh Creek Ward - we get transfer calls on Saturday. If I leave I'm really going to miss this ward. Bishop said that me and Elder Malani, are the best two missionaries that the Ward has ever seen! I love the Garrisons!

Well I hope that all is well back home. I did get the package from G-mama Cook, and also the one from the Applonies. I got the card from Grandma and Grandpa Smith too. Tell them thank you! I love them so much. I'm going to write them next Monday (I meant to today, but ran out of time)

Well, I love ya all! Tell Tyson to snag Caitlin before she gets away!
