What in the world!!!! Vanessa is getting married to Danny!?! Where did this come from? That really surprised me! Wow, poor Jake. I cant believe that Vanessa is getting married! My Vanessa! WOW!
Ok, well that just really surprised me. Anyway, I had a CRAZY week. Things with my companion got pretty bad. It ended up with me locking myself in the bathroom, and calling President Wade, because Elder Bolkeim got violent. The Garrisons were out of town for the Holiday, and if they had been there I don't think he would have acted that way. The Zone Leaders had to come over to spend the night. The next day we drove to Oakland and had interviews with President. He told us to go to the temple together and do a session. That was a treat, because normally we only get to go 3 times a year! So it was a nice afternoon in the temple with Elder Bolkeim, and I think it helped a lot. It helped me to calm down and forgive my companion. So everything is fine now, and me and elder Bolkeim will not be companions next transfer. But we did get transfer calls, and I am staying AGAIN! Holy cow, at the end of this transfer I will be here for 6 months! 25% of my mission in this ward, but I love it here so its all good. And I'm excited to be at the Garrisons for Christmas. The other big news is that I am training! I'm getting a greenie! I was surprised when President asked me to train, but I'm excited. It will be a good experience.
Well, my Thanksgiving was good! We ate at 3 families houses, so I was pretty stuffed! It was a good day, except for that night when I was held hostage in the bathroom! But all is well now.
Well, I really, honestly don't want anything for Christmas. The only thing I can think of is a little hymn book. You really don't have to spend any money, and please don't send a ton of junk food! I am seriously starting to get fat. Because of my back (which is doing fine) I can't run, or do physical activity, so I've been trying to eat healthy. I just can't think of anything that I need...
Well things are going good. Denise still wants to take the lessons, and Mark is progressing as well. I hope to see them both baptized before I leave the area. Cecilia is a sweet heart still, and we are going to help her move onto dry land this week! (they are moving off their house boat).
Everybody is decorating for Christmas, and it just doesn't feel like it. I guess it's because of the warm weather, the palm trees, and the blooming flowers! Its a little strange.
Well I love you all so much! I'm grateful for such a wonderful family! Tell Grandma and Grandpa Smith, Great Grandma, and my Little Grandma Cookie that I love them!
