Today my missionary experience began. Me and my family (Dad, Mom, Kenna) (Tyson is still serving in Chile) got to the MTC at 11:30 am. It was snowing like crazy! We took some pictures and went to the meeting. Our farewell went smoothly, but I truly miss them. The comfort that I have received is amazing. I don't feel homesick at all, when I'm busy. The spirit here is great, and I look forward to having great spiritual experiences here at the MTC. I know that obedience brings power and that is one of my main goals for my mission - to be obedient in all things and to stay focues.
After me and my family parted I got to my room and I was the first one there, so I got first pick of my bed and closet! Then Elder Kesler from Boise Idaho area and Elder WaiWaiole from Honolulu Hawaii came. They are great. After I got settled I didn't even feel homesick. As long as I stay busy and focus, I don't think I'll have a problem.
