Today seemed a lot more productive. We had a plan for the day and that made a big difference. Elder Cain is a good missionary, and I can learn lots from him. I'm still getting to know him. I think that we will get along well. I don't think we'll be best friends, but I don't think we'll have a problem. Today I went to my first teaching appointment! I didn't really say much, but it was great! We taught a guy named James. He's been being taught for a long time. He really likes going into really deep doctrines - like where God began, how the Virgin Mary conceived Christ, ya know, stuff that isn't important for us to know right now. But we set a baptism date with him! So that is exciting. Missionary work is not like how I imagined. I hope Elder Cain teaches me all that I need to know. Tonight was also my first dinner appointment at Bishop Fawson's house. He is the bishop of the 2nd ward here in San Ramon. It was great. I love the members here. I love San Ramon! I guess it's one of the nicest areas in the mission. It is so beautiful. the neighborhoods are super nice, but a lot of people feel that they have what they need, and don't want the gospel.
