Hey Family!
Well I can't believe that this is my last p-day in the MTC! It has been great here. I am so lucky to have a wonderful family at home that loves and supports me. The gospel is a wonderful blessing. Well this past week was elder Rushing's birthday, the big 20! I bought him a card (and had everyone sign it),a picture of Christ, and some candy. I don't think that he really cared, but it didn't hurt my feelings. I'm just trying to love him (and its really hard). Most of the time he acts like a 5 year old. He brings toys to class, and he sleeps a lot. But he really misses home, and I don't know his whole story, but i will just keep trying my best. Being here at the MTC has changed my view about missionary work. I cant wait to get to Oakland, and look back and laugh, when I was disappointed at my call (at first). It truly doesn't matter where we serve, because Gods children are everywhere, and all of Gods children need the gospel.
Thank you for the package! I love the mini PMG! There is an Elder in our zone who really wants one, so his girl friend is probably going to call you, and ask where you got it, so she can send him one - just a heads up. Well I love you all so much! I know that this is kinda a short one, but I had a lot to read today, and I want to email Tyson. Plus I will talk to you Wednesday and Sunday, and have some stories to tell you! Our flight is around 11:00 am, so I'll call sometime around there. I love you!
