Being a missionary is awesome, and it keeps getting better. Today it was raining all day long and we studied all day long, but I feel my testimony growing. We learned the second lesson in a hurry and began teaching it today. It went well, but it was hard going to a lesson we knew so well (the first lesson) and had confidence in, to going back to knowing nothing. We know the doctrines good, but how to teach them is a whole different thing. Today in the RC I talked with a lady in California that had very strong opinions that Mormons are not Christian (even though our church is centered on Christ, and His name is on our name tag). She said she wasn't happy with the Mormons because of Prop 8. She had strong words and opinions so I just thanked her for her time and hung up. I felt bad for her. It also was a wake up call that people in Cali are not happy. We are going into the fire! Oakland here I come!
