Hello Family! I loved talking with you last night. It's going to be weird not talking to you until Christmas, because I've called home 3 times in the past 5 days! Well my first p-day is going pretty good. This morning we woke up and went over to a members house to eat breakfast. They feed us breakfast once a week! They are awesome. They have a son getting ready to put in his mission papers (their first one going out). We talked about him for awhile, then I saw his picture on the wall and i know him! He was in my ward at BYU-I, and was at the pool a lot when I swam laps! Crazy huh? It is a small world. I also found out today at our zone activity (we played dodgeball, and the Tongan sisters made us this way good Tongan desert drink stuff), anyway I found out that Sis. Rogers (a sister missionary in our district) is way good friends with Steve (my past roommate at BYU-I)! Crazy again! We shared some good stories about good ol' Steve. But ya, we also went shopping today, and we still have to do our laundry, and clean out the car. Well, I'm getting to know Elder Cain a bit more, and he is a little different, but he is a good missionary, and I hope to work well with him. My apartment address is -140 cedar point loop apt. #513 San Ramon, CA. I don't know the zip code, but maybe you could find it online. Elder Cain says that it is better to just send stuff to the mission home, and then they will forward it to me, but I don't know! You could try sending it straight to my apartment, whatever you feel like. Well I love you all so much! Mom, I hope you had a wonderful Mothers Day!
-Elder Cook
