May 11, 2009

We started out our P-day today with breakfast at the Halversen's. They are wonderful members who feed us breakfast once a week. They were talking to me about their oldest son, and how he is preparing to put in his mission papers soon. We talked for a bit, then I went into their living room and saw a picture of their family and I know their son! Crazy huh? He was in my ward at BYU-I! Small world. Another crazy thing that I found out is that Sis. Roggers (in our district) is good friends with Steve (my roommate at BYU-I)! Crazy again! It's a small world. Well today after breakfast we did a bit of shopping, then went to a zone activity in Walnut Creek. We played dodgeball. It was pretty fun. It was nice to meet the whole zone. The Tongan sisters made this way good Tongan drink. It had watermelon, pineapple, and a whole bunch of other weird stuff, and you ate it with crackers. It was really good. After the activity we went to our ward building and emailed. There wasn't much to write because I just talked to the fam on yesterday (wow, that sounds retarded). Well it has been a good day, and I am tired.
