Today was pretty amazing. I spent the day in Concord in Elder Warden's area. We had a great day. I learned so much from Elder Warden in the past 24 hours. He has been out for a little over a year, and he is the missionary I want to be in a year. Today we talked with everyone! I think people in Concord are a lot nicer than San Ramon (not as rich), or E. Warden just knows how to talk to people. We had 2 lessons today. It was great because I've only taught 1 so far - total, so it was good. E. Warden told me to teach the people - not the lesson. It is a lot easier said than done. It will come with practice. I just need to be patient and trust in the Lord. I also had a good talk with him about not knowing - or at least feeling like I'm not 100% sure that this is the true church. He gave me good advice and said that I just don't know that I know. Of course I have a testimony, or I wouldn't be here, but I have doubts that need to be destroyed! But I felt like today was a really good day. We ate dinner at the Cox's tonight (best yet!) and stayed way too long, but we had a really good visit. Missionary work is hard getting used to but eventually it will become a way of life. A way of life that I'll live for the rest of my days.
